I am very grateful for your consideration and interest in my art. Without the support of my clients I would not be able to use my artistic skills and passion to make a living & there is just no way of expressing how thankful I am for this. m(_ _)m I very much enjoy creating images for people that have significant meaning and are built on the foundation of their own individual symbols, stories and intentions. Below I have provided a list of things I would like clients to consider before coming to their appointment whether it is for art or tattoo commissions.
Please consider why exactly you are hiring me and what this means to you (memorial, spiritual, fashion, etc...)
If this is about a person (mother, uncle, sister, friend, teacher, etc...) think about what they mean to you. Bring any relevant photos of them or of things they like or are into.
Any drawings/sketches that you make are helpful no matter how basic.
For tattoo clients:
Before your tattoo appointment be sure to have eaten a good meal. Bring snacks or a meal with you for longer sessions (during long sessions there will be a short break every two hours or so). Please be well hydrated and as free from body stress as possible (not hungover, intoxicated, overworked, or otherwise stressed in the body). Try your best to arrive calm and not over caffeinated. Please do not bring with you any people that are too exciting or stressful to be around, the tattoo process can be painful & it is best to be with people that are grounding and calming. It is recommended to lotion the tattoo area before your appointment especially if you have dry skin.
If you have any more questions please contact me directly.
Consultation & commission information
Consultations are complementary. It is important for all clients to consider that no designing will begin without a deposit AND the scheduling of an appointment/due date. All tattoos come with one hour complimentary drawing. Any redrawing, complex drawing and freehand drawing (directly on the skin) will be billed at $50/hour.
If a client would like to see the basic design before moving forward with the actual tattoo appointment and/or art commission then another consultation will be scheduled. A deposit is still required. If a client does not wish to get the tattoo and/or art piece after seeing the design they can either request it as another form of art or cancel the project all together.
The client is encouraged to voice any opinions about changes to the design that they feel are necessary. Only 3 revisions will be made. After the third revision if the client is still unsatisfied the project will be canceled. All deposits are non refundable. The deposit will compensate the artist for the time invested in designing weather or not the client chooses to get the tattoo/art or not. For more information about deposit policies click here.
